Central Library, Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner
The Central Library of Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU), Jobner is the primary academic library of the university. It serves as a comprehensive knowledge resource centre for students, researchers, faculty and staff across all constituent colleges and departments.
Spanning approximately 14,000 sq. ft., the library is equipped with air-conditioned reading rooms, RFID security gates, RFID self-service book issue/return system, CCTV surveillance and Wi-Fi connectivity throughout its premises.
The library houses an extensive collection of books, periodicals, theses, government publications and digital resources in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Home Science, Basic Sciences and allied disciplines. It uses the Koha Library Management System for catalogue management, with 69,681 digital records across constituent college libraries.
The library is a member of DELNET (Developing Library Network), enabling inter-library loan services across 9,800+ connected institutions nationwide.
